a very random post
- we are back in la. arrived friday night. passed by the part of the 5 where the major accident had been - the only difference is that it is (marked) a 55 mph zone.
- somewhere along the way we hit 177,000 miles on the civic.
- we also saw fire trucks on the road from as far away as washington state.
- on thursday it took me an hour and a half to get from sfo to livermore. and another hour and a half to get back, even though it was after 11pm. we literally got stuck on the bay bridge (thinking that we were avoiding the construction on 238) as they closed all but one lane and then directed everyone off.
- b accepted a contract position that will last until at least February.
- that hasn't really sunk in yet.
- we are going to see jenna bush at a book signing today.
- i am still not finished with the laundry.
