Yesterday we went to Whole Foods to get the produce and such for Thanksgiving dinner (which I think we have decided will be Wednesday). As we were approaching the checkout B guessed the amount of our total. If you don't include tax, he came within 25 cents. Even with tax, he was still off by less than a dollar.

I get the feeling that WHole Foods plays a big role in your life!!! Congrats to B for an excellent guess!!!

Hah!!! We do that at Costco --- I feel lucky if I come within $50. And for some reason, I always guess low.... stinking impulse buys...

We like Whole Foods and have missed going there more regularly. I just like all the produce. It feels like an outing because it is about a 25-30 minute drive (each way).

I found Costco really hard to do with a household of two, so we didn't renew our membership. What is the point of buying fresh bagels if you are only going to freeze them?

The truly amazing thing about B's guess is that I had taken the cart and finished off my list while he was off wandering about. He claims that he based his guess on the volume of the cart contents. Who knows?

Me either. The woman at the checkout was pretty impressed too.
