Well, technically I don't have a night stand,
but you get the idea. This is my current read. It's over
500 pages. It is about a girl who moves a lot.
It was recommended by Daily Candy and is also part of Border's Original Voices. So if you want a copy, it is 20% off at Borders.

Are you finding that you relate to this book? Or is it hitting too close to home?
It is very different from my situation. The main character's father is a professor. The mother died in a car accident when the main character was about 6, and days before she was to take possession of a new and much safer vehicle. It is a very high brow book. There are references in just about every paragraph. But it is interesting. I am curious to see where it goes.
